The application window is now closed, and the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2025 is scheduled to be conducted from 13th August to 30th August 2025, in multiple shifts across India.

SSC CGL exam dates are out now
Notification of the SSC CGL 2025 was released on 09th of June 2025. Applicants were allowed to apply online from the given date i.e. 09 june until the last date. and the last date to apply was 04th of july 2025, whereas, applicants can deposit the fee upto 05th of july 2025.

SSC CGL Application Fee
Application fee for the examination is allocated as per category wise. Candidates belonging to general category will pay exam fee of Rs. 100 only. Same will be for the OBC & EWS category candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PW and Female candidates are exempted to pay fee.

New Updates! – What’s New in SSC CGL 2025
- SSC introduced Aadhaar-based biometric authentication for all its recruitment exams, including SSC CGL 2025. The main aim of the policy is to enhance identity verification and reduce fraudulent practices like impersonation during the exam process.
- SSC upgraded its ‘mySSC app’ for aspirants allowing them to apply for exams, including SSC CGL 2025, directly through the app.
- Candidates are now allowed to use Aadhaar authentication at three stages: online registration, application submission, and at the exam centre during the test. This involves biometric verification (e.g., fingerprint or facial recognition) linked to the candidate’s Aadhaar number.
- Two posts, “Section Head” and “Office Superintendent” were introduced this year.
